Faculty

A vibrant and lively student-teacher interaction is imperative for the success of any educational institution. Our faculty is comprised of prominent teachers, who are passionate about their subjects and work towards preparing their students to take on any challenge that the world has to offer.

One of the oldest Engineering colleges in the Bundelkhand Region, IMEC has an exemplary roster of faculty members. Each faculty member has many years of experience and training. The faculty at IMEC strives to provide interactive learning opportunities to students and does not restrict itself to classroom dialogue.

Infrastructure

Spread over a 25-acre campus, IMEC takes pride in being one of the most beautiful Campuses in the region. In addition to the Engineering college, the campus is also home to a Nursing College, Education College, hostels, dining facilities, and indoor & outdoor sports facilities. The campus boasts of state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern facilities.

In addition to classrooms, the College also has workshops spread over 20,000 sq. ft. and numerous labs equipped with the latest equipment and machines required for all the engineering programs the College offers.

Placements

The Institute is cognizant of the fact that the end goal of all educational endeavors is to get a job. With this goal in mind, Infinity organizes numerous campuses throughout the year. The companies visiting the campus have hired over 500 students in the last 2 years. An Annual Job Fair is held in February at the Infinity Campus, to enable its students to secure the best and most lucrative jobs.

The on-going campus placement drives conducted throughout the year, are not only for the benefit of the existing students but also for the Alumni.

Training

The Institute has initiated the Corporate Relations, Employability, Placement and Training (CREPT) Cell, in order to provide students with all the latest trainings. CREPT Cell consists of the Training and Placement Officer and faculty representatives. CREPT cell aims at developing corporate relations by continuous interaction with various industries and thereby creating visibility of the campus and students in the corporate sector. The cell approaches companies for recruitment, internship, expert lectures, training and other professional collaborations.

In a bid to groom employable students, the Institute has entered into partnerships with companies to contribute to the growth, learning and development of its students. Infinity takes great pride in its active working relationship with over 30 national level companies, and 50 state level companies. The Institute has entered into MOU’s with multiple companies of great repute, to conduct trainings, company visits, provide internships and jobs.

The CREPT team endeavours to instill in students an attitude of continuous learning and prioritizing to further their careers. The training programmes developed by the CREPT team intends to equip students with relevant employability skills, which include not only technical but also managerial skills. The team has initiated various training programmes to improve students’ employability skills, both technical and non-technical. Students are trained in Aptitude Tests, Technical Skills, Group Discussions and Personal interviews. These training programmes make students understand what employability is, various skills required to be employed, expectations of the industry from freshers, etiquettes, professional behavior and ethical work practices.
