& Anti-Ragging Squad

Infinity Management & Engineering College, Pathariya Jat, Sagar strictly prohibits ragging in any form, inside or outside the college and hostel campus, in accordance with the orders of the Honorable Supreme Court, the recommendations of the Human Rights Commission, and the guidelines of Rajiv Gandhi Prodhyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.

Any student found involved in ragging-related activities will face exemplary disciplinary action. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all students, especially freshers, the college has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee and an Anti-Ragging Squad.

Role of the Anti-Ragging Committee

  1. Formulate strategies to prevent ragging on campus.
  2. Create awareness among students about the adverse effects of ragging.
  3. Design posters and outreach material to discourage ragging in hostels, classrooms, and other vulnerable areas.
  4. Conduct visits to hostels to monitor and prevent incidents.
  5. Recommend action against students found involved in ragging.
  6. Sensitize parents of senior students to discourage ragging behavior.
  7. Coordinate with and guide the Anti-Ragging Squad.
  8. Submit periodic reports to the University as required.

Role of the Anti-Ragging Squad

  1. Act under the guidance of the Anti-Ragging Committee.
  2. Conduct surprise checks in ragging-prone areas.
  3. Identify students involved in ragging activities.
  4. Report findings to the Anti-Ragging Committee for further action.
  5. Remain vigilant round the clock, including surprise checks in hostels and campus premises at odd hours.
  6. The college remains firmly committed to maintaining a ragging-free, safe, and respectful environment for all students.
